APJ Abdul Kalam's office denies his health rumours, says he is fine




If reports are to be believed, former president of India APJ Abdul Kalam has been hospitalized due to his ill health. However his office on Monday rejected reports of his ill health saying that he was absolutely fine.

Some reports were doing the rounds quoting Kalam's private secretary saying that there were rumours about Kalam's health which were absolutely false and that ‘it was a mischief by someone.'

Meanwhile Kalam has been awarded an honorary degree by Scotland's prestigious University of Edinburgh for his contribution to science and technology.

Kalam, who served as the president of India from 2002 to 2007, received the degree during a dinner held in his honour on May 15, the varsity said. Kalam is one of the most respected Presidents the country has had.

He is also known for inspiring the youth and laying special stress on education sector during his tenure.
